Dave Bakey

My name is David Bakey. I've been employed with Leader Industries for 34 years. I started in 1975 when I was 15 years old as a part time employee after school; I pretty much worked my way through most of the departments and positions over the years. I currently work in the sales/order entry department, but I still get involved in other aspects of the company. I enjoy working at Leader for several reasons, one being that I feel we produce one of the finest emergency vehicles built today, and I enjoy being a part of that, and also great co-workers, some who I've worked with for over 20 years. Working for Gary Hunter, the CEO, he is probably one of the most intelligent and knowledgeable guys you will ever meet when it comes to vehicles of any kind. With the history of our vehicles and the personnel we have, it's easy to see why Leader is so successful, and I'm still here after 34 years.

My avocations include golf and fast cars.
